Challenges Faced
Xiamen's climate is warm and humid, so the requirements for the moisture-proof and mildew-proof properties of the ceiling are even higher.
The indoor spaces of the hospital generally use wet disinfection methods, and the ceilings used indoors must also have water repellency and washable durability.
In order to optimize the service experience, the hospital will divide some VIP wards and wards. These VIP wards not only need to provide a quiet and comfortable environment for recuperation,
but also need to visually meet aesthetic needs and demonstrate high-quality medical care.
Modern hospital design often requires the integration of various pipeline equipment on the ceiling to ensure the normal operation of the hospital. Therefore, the openability and easy replacement of the ceiling system are also necessary for later operation and maintenance.

The upgraded Baokang ceiling has a waterproof surface and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth without leaving obvious water stains.

The modular system characteristics of the mineral wool ceiling allow for flexible disassembly and installation, making ceiling updates and maintenance more time-saving and efficient.
Ward - (Baokang + 888 type keel)
Both ceiling types used in the project have good sound absorption performance. In addition, Baokang, as a ceiling specifically for medical spaces, has the highest level of mildew resistance (level 0) and a special antibacterial coating treatment surface, effectively preventing mildew and bacteria. For hospital projects, this not only easily creates a quiet environment, but also effectively
maintains a clean space.

In general areas, Baokang is used with 888 or 1000 type keels, while high-end Youpin ceilings are used in VIP wards. This visually distinguishes the two types of spaces, highlighting the high quality of the VIP wards.
