In-depth Visit to Huawei's Base in Shenzhen's Bantian

Armstrong, as an excellent space design partner of Huawei Group, will conduct an in-depth on-site visit to Huawei's global headquarters - the Shenzhen Bantian base.

 

The Huawei Bantian base, established in 1998, covers approximately 1.3 square kilometers and includes administrative headquarters, production, and R&D parks. The base has wide roads and mainly features European-style architecture, with buildings and trees complementing each other.

Project Background and Challenges

 

This Armstrong project is located in the G area of the Bantian base, covering the ceiling design of the production center and administrative office buildings. Huawei's corporate philosophy is green operation, connecting with future technology and wisdom. It also hopes to adapt to the overall "Prairie School" architectural style of the park, incorporating natural and simple materials.

Renovation Plan

Metal Hook-on Ceiling

The corridor leading to the office area uses Armstrong's metal hook-on ceiling, matching the European style of the corridor while reflecting a technological visual effect. The texture of the ceiling perfectly blends with the excellent lighting and environment, creating a pleasant office atmosphere.

Office Area

Wood-grained Hook-on Film Honeycomb Panel

The incorporation of natural architectural elements not only continues the simple style of the entire building but also makes the entire indoor space more dynamic. The honeycomb panel is lightweight, has high flatness, and is not easily deformed.

Micro-perforated Acoustic Panel

The office area uses a mix of various elements. Here, Armstrong's micro-perforated acoustic panels perfectly combine with the lighting, ensuring the acoustic effect of the entire space and making the office environment quieter and more comfortable.

 

Metal Hook-on Ceiling Metal High-gloss Wall Panel

Huawei has also built a variety of fitness and entertainment areas for employees. Armstrong's metal hook-on ceiling and metal high-gloss wall panels combine with the colors of the fitness area to create a dynamic visual effect while effectively improving the indoor acoustic environment.

Custom Wood-grained Professional Metal Square Bar

The ceiling of the leisure area still uses the traditional Armstrong wood-grained square bar, matching the modern linear appearance and minimalist style, creating a warm office atmosphere for Huawei employees.

Armstrong's innovative ceiling, visible overhead, is integrated into Huawei's architectural environment. The new renovation meets the needs of humanization, environmental protection, acoustics, and comfort.
