Tianjin Airport International Hospital is located in the center of Tianjin Airport Economic Zone, covering an area of 134,000 square meters. It is a comprehensive tertiary Grade A hospital featuring a geriatric rehabilitation center, a women's and children's medical center, and a health management and international medical center.
The hospital's daily emergency volume exceeds 1.8 million person-times. This huge number of patients presents significant challenges for both medical staff and hospital facilities.
Challenges Faced
☼ The hospital building has an open space with high traffic flow; the hospital hopes to alleviate the background noise pressure in the lobby and public areas through acoustic design of the ceiling.
☼ In line with the hospital's clean and atmospheric image, the hospital hopes that the ceiling solution can have a simple and bright visual appearance while improving the acoustic environment.
☼ Provide professional customized details for the functional needs of some spaces. For example: mineral wool ceilings in the ward areas need to be fitted with tracks for hanging curtains; corridors have many pipelines that require frequent maintenance, and the ceiling needs to be easy to open.
Solution
